Restaurant Rust Wat in Blaricum is entering a new culinary chapter under the leadership of renowned top chef Sidney Schutte.
We are proud to soon introduce an entirely new concept: French brasserie style, where simplicity, flavor, and hospitality take center stage. Recognizable and accessible to everyone.

Job requirements
You take care of all the preparatory tasks and cooking in the kitchen, ensuring that every dish leaves the kitchen on time and perfectly prepared
You keep the work environment and kitchen equipment clean, and report any irregularities or defects
You assess the quality of the products and ingredients used, focusing on freshness and shelf life
You give clear instructions and guidance to kitchen assistants so they can also contribute to the kitchen process
You ensure compliance with safety, health (ARBO), HACCP regulations, and follow house style standards for work and presentation. You also monitor hygiene and product shelf life
You receive, check, and store deliveries, handle inventory management, and account for used quantities
You contribute ideas for the menu and help develop recipes. You also discuss custom menus for events or groups
What you bring
MBO level 3 working and thinking level
Proven knowledge of basic cooking techniques
Knowledge of ingredients and of the composition of the menu
You are flexible and available to work evenings and weekends
This role requires a proactive, quality-focused attitude. You’re capable of handling the dynamic pressure of a busy kitchen. Every day, you strive to be your best, and you’re only satisfied when everything runs smoothly and guests leave with a fantastic culinary experience.
